Blair Park
The goal for the rebrand is to remind the Huntingdon community of the JC Blair legacy while increasing foot traffic and funding to the park. By connecting the modern world with the historical influence of the Blair familyin a fun, friendly way, the rebrand emphasizes the park’s unique features. Nestled insight the town of Huntingdon, Blair Park has many beautiful locations including a gazebo, church, and walking trails along Standing Stone Creek. The park, being heavily in need of volunteers, could greatly benefit from adjusting the focus solely from the residents over 50 to additionally that can capture the attention of the local college students from Juniata.
Company Rebrand
This rebrand will feature a calm, friendly, modern vibe that is heavily inspired by the nature that encompasses the park. In order to maintain the legacy of JC Blair, the rebrand will also feature a touch of the previous historical branding and many paper influences due to his invention of the paper tablet. Reflecting the themes of the brand, the tone should be friendly, relaxed, and cheerful. Due to the new audience’s age and demographics, a slightly informal tone works better to connect. Trends should be focused on in order to draw attention to the brand and gain young volunteers. When communicating with the previous, older audience, the brand can reflect a more traditional diction.
Merchandise
A large part of the rebrand was to not only attract a younger audience, but also entice them to help volunteer and fundraise for park upkeep. The trendy t-shirts and tote bags using the custom illustration will be used as a gift incentive for donations. The illustration highlights the key feature of the park

One of the most important redesigns was the park’s brochure. The goal was to not only inform about the Blair legacy and the park, but also to cheerfully entice readers to volunteer and get connected.
